I choose the sparkly Blue ones, it brings out her face so much and her eyes sparkle, shows the warmth that she has. Boy I don't know how or why someone like me was gifted with someone like her but i am overjoyed she is in my life

I'm a fan of emeralds myself.  I will not even begin to describe what else I look for in a woman though.....  other than blue or green eyes.

Okay, I know this one is supposed to be for the guys, but you have touched on one of my favorite subjects.  Gemstones...  If that really is what you're talking about.  Tee hee hee.

I tend to gravitate more toward stones that are not too common.  Like, iolote, tanzanite, rhodochrisite, cuprite and blah blah blah blah.

But here are some of my favorites...

Iolite--Primarily blue, it has many other colors in it depending on the angle it's viewed.  It contains magnesium so it can get quite vivid and kinda purple.  Plus, it's got a hardness of 7-7 1/2 which if you all know me, you know that's a good thing, I'm always knocking into something or someone.

Garnet--not that brownish one as much as the rhodolite family because of it's wonderful deep fushia.  Plus, it comes in an interesting green and a firey orange which brings me to my next stone.

Opal--Just a stunning stone.  All the colors, it's like a light show on a tiny little planet.  And they also come in this amazing orange that I've only seen once and have been on a quest to get one ever since.

Emeralds, sapphires, rubies, and diamonds because, after all, diamonds are a girl's best friend.

So, now that you all know what I like, I expect many gifts.  Christmas is coming....::rofl::

Anyway, I'll stop now...

I'm guessing it would not be the height of etiquette to say, "A pearl necklace"... so I won't.

I like emeralds. They go with a red-headed wench's eyes well, even if they are brown eyes.

I have rubies, and I like nonartificial, pidgeon-blood colored ones (yep, an actual color classification.  Darned hard to find, too) but I'm starting to get into opals in a big way.  Especially since one Evil compatriot of mine made me realize that they match my eyes...

Nope, that's what the Rubies are for.  The opals match when I'm NOT partied out. :O
