To first answer the question, my favorite is Health to the Company; to celebrate those you're with and those you'll miss the next round. But I'm a proponent of a rousing that'll get the ale sloshin in the mug and folks singing off-key; Ol' Dun Cow, All for Me Grog, Mary Mack, Tell Me Ma.
And while I like the traditional styles of "Whiskey in the Jar" and "Fields of Athenry"; I have to say the amped-up versions by Metallica and Dropkick Murphys are necessary to jump-start the day.

I heard the Metallica version of Whisky in a Jar the other day.  Didn't really like it so much.  I am fond of the Brobdingnagian Bards version of it.  Their "Jedi Drinking Song" is a nice one also.

Hmmm... faire songs... y'know... I'm gonna go with anything the Tartan Terrors do.  I've yet to find myself at a faire with a pub where playtrons sing out loud.

The "Philip Hole" performance of "Anne Boleyn" for Queen Elizabeth at her Birthday Pubsing at NYRF; I think it was in 2006: while Rick was singing, "Lord Burleigh" put his head down in his hands and "Queen Elizabeth" was watching the 'ghost' from "Hamlet for two" and calling to her mother. When his performance ended, she thanked "Philip Hole" profusely.

Lately it's been..I think it's called the "Top Man's Prayer". Not sure. Starts out, "A Top Man and an Afterguard, were awalkin' out one day. Said the Top Man to the Afterguard, "I mean for to pray."" It's on the Pirates Royale live CD.

Usually my current fave will be the song I'm trying to teach myself. The last one I did is called "The Sick Note".

Traditional Irish Folk Song - Dennis Leary.

Along the same lines, although I have yet to hear it at Faire, I'd also have to suggest "Another Irish Drinking Song" by DaVinci'sNotebook from their Brontosaurus album.

Doesn't our boy Bruce have the Boomstick?  You might have to use something less lethal and more humilating. How about the Tar & Featherer Carbine? ... or the Dirty Sanchez Caligraphy Set? or just brand an N into his cheek (your choice) to warn everyone of his Necro tendencies?

PS: I keep waiting for Bruce to slip the Boomstick in on Burn Notice sometime. BTW: His character on that show is another fine example of our brotherhood. Bruce rocks!
