Pages Not Updating
« on: Jul 24, 03, 08:32:54 pm CDT »

Ok I need some real help. My pages (on here and other sites) don't necessarily keep up to date. I have to refresh the info sent. On certain pages I get stuff that is weeks old. I thought that it might have something to do with my cookies, but I've went and cleared it and changed the settings for them and still have problems. Any thoughts?

If you are using Internet Explorer do the following:

Click "Tools"
Go to "Internet Options"
On the first screen you will see the Temp. Internet Files Section.
Click the button on the far right "Settings"
The part that says "Check for Newer Versions of Stored Pages" is what you want to modify.  Change it to every time you visit the page.  That should work for ya  :)

Thats very very odd my friend.  That should fix it.  Hmmm.  I'd tell it not to store any pages period.  If you use 2 browsers or two versions of the web browser that could likely cause it but i doubt you are doing that.  Hmmm...

One way to make it stop... hit it with a hammer

Yup it is, but I am not to impressed with those two either. And it seems to be working right now. May have just had a hiccup or two. I'm just about ready to throw the computer out and try something else.
