Well this idea sprang up while talking about the Moose and their menu of unusual items so I wouldn't mind meeting there just so I can try something I've never had.

As far as a less planned spur of the moment get together...that Pub 199 sounds cool.

And as far as when...since I have no life I've flexible. Whenever is good for everyone else.

are you kidding, I am a regular at 199.....

I love the staff there and my dad knows the owner....

I could not care less how slow or rude they are (though it dricves my mom nuts when she goes) as long as no one spits in my food, who cares!!!

those burgers are to die for and the hand sliced bacon on top...or the real southern fried half chicken...or the lobster....oh so good and so cheap!!!
I just can't wait til they open here, 7 miles from my houe to the door...I can drink...I hate to drink at theother one becaus it is either 46 or 80 home so I am always better safe then sorry...

The Moose, or Pub 199 is fine. I only live about 20 minutes from either place.

Been to the Moose. Friends of mine used to live in the  apartment over it, but that was back in the '70s. Tried to go to the Pub one day, but it was packed and we couldn't get anywhere near it. Never went back.

All I have seen so far is the first Saturday in November as a possible date.    Is this firm yet?????      I would need to start planning now if I am to make it.
