Who rides and what?
« on: Feb 07, 07, 02:04:35 pm CST »

Ok who rides motorcycles and what ya ride?
I got a 90 mile round trip commute that is nearly all interstate and am thinking about something a bit more gas efficient than my truck.
I have ridden but its been a looooong time so the riders class is prolly in order.

Inquiring rogues want to know.

It's just a matter of semantics.
You call it a drinking problem, and I call it a reality exit strategy.

I had a Kawasaki GPZ 750 (yer basic crotch rocket) back in the mid 80's when I was 18 and lived about a half hour from LA. Did a lot of cruisin' up and down the shore on that puppy.

Then in 89 I briefly had a Yamaha 1100 Special. It was cool because it looked like a Harley...at least to people who didn't know bikes too well. I bought it on impulse though and couldn't really afford to keep it so I sold it after one good summer on it.

I've toyed with the idea of getting a Harley now for the past few years. Probably would've done it if not for the fact I have no real place to store it during the winter. Or any place to park it when it rains for that matter.

Some day.
