Slated on my calendar; will you be my POC for hotel recommendations and directions and most importantly where to dine after the faire invasion?  I ususally go in garb.  ;)

Awesome! I look forward to it.  I doubt I'll have my usual entourage so it should be easy.  I'll stay in touch several weeks out from faire opening.

I'll mostly be interested in a nice hotel (cost not an issue) nearby and good local eats including the post-invasion (after-faire) pub.

You can stay in the area close to my house, nice hotels, great area, everything you could want around from Sushi to micro-brew's. It is then just a highways drive to faire, about 30 mins. You can stay closer but it isn't as nice.
