You have a point, sir.  I think the whole male cast deserves pins too and the women deserve honoraies for sure if not full out Wenches Pins.

Kaylee was too mousy to merit a Wench pin, but she had potential.  If only she'd shown a little more backbone or chutzpah.  Inara and Zoe, hell yeah.  River needs an Assassin's guild pin.

Simon... meh, not sure if he's worthy of a Rogue's pin.  But, that's my opinion, so...

Simon - Himbo Pin.
Kaylee - the flashback scene where we meet her made her so totally Wench material that I can forgive the rest of it all.  The line "I saw it there, plain as day, while I was on my back earlier..." still gives me a little thrill and a flutter as well as a Han Solo Smirk (tm).

I'm ashamed to say that I know your name...

You don't.

However...your avatar reminds me...recently learning that Christina Hendricks was on the show has made me curious about watching it.

Christina Hendricks...we'll all be in our bunks.

True... But I keep thinking back to the dance, where she couldn't put the snotty bitch in her place, or the times where she just couldn't 'step up', y'know?  Like I said, she had potential, and I'm certain that if the series had gone longer than one season, she would have proven her mettle as a Wench.

Yes.

You should be able to find copies of the series for little of nothing, same with Serenity.  I think I saw it last night at work for $10.
Or, would you like me to do my magic and have it suddenly appear in your mailbox?

Ok sounds like a definite yes for me.  Which one is first?  Does anyone know if they're available on Netflix?  If I can rent them there, then cool.  If not, mailbox magic would be teh awesome.

Which one is first?

Me first!

Oh...wait...you mean Firefly and Serenity...

The Firefly box set first, the episodes are in correct story order for you, and then follow up with the film Serenity.  Have Kleenex handy for the film.  Joss pulls NO punches at all.

I wonder if they'll ever upgrade the Firefly box set to blu-ray or not?  Serenity was one of the first blu-ray disks pressed.

Yup.  I drool over it every day at work.  It's not on sale, presently.

I keep hearing about the series but I haven't had time to check it out.  Hopefully our video rental store has it.  About the only thing I have time to see on TV lately is Doctor Who reruns.  I did however hear that Doctor Horrible may get made into a full length movie.

ok so - I saw the first 5 episodes off Hulu while waiting for the DVDs to come in from the Inter-Library transit.  It came in today... and it's the first 3 episodes.  Bah!!!  The library does have the 4-disc set, but it's checked out ATM, due back in on the 24th.  Hulu only has the first 5 eps available.

I'm so hooked I can't stand this.  Been a LOOOOONNNNGGG time since I've been this hooked on a show. Thank you thank you all, for encouraging this viewing.

Oh - and I'm completely in love with Wash.  Loved Tudyk in A Knight's Tale and this character is even better!

And as an aside - I just now realized that the link in the first post, leads to a different clip than what Curben wanted to post.  But it's still friggin hilarious.  "First time?"
