Ah, gotcha.  Like flashes turning red into pink and all that jazz.  I still think blue would be a good color to work with.

SHAVE THAT HEAD?  Uhm... Please tell me you're joking... right?  Unless you've already cut off the hair in your avatar, DON'T!!  Please, for the love of midichlorians, DON'T!!!

Sorry my Love, but I donated almost all of it to Locks for Love before going to the Green Zone aka Sandbox.  I usually keep it cut pretty short - business dress.

I've been contemplating doing the same thing for a quite a while now. I haven't cut it in almost 4 years. The last time i cut it, I regretted it. That was about 4 years ago and it wasn't anywhere near as long as it is now.

Oh now he was only burned. Both of us, before, referred to him actually falling into the lava. That was both our bad.  ;)

Dude.  Seriously.  Fuck off and die.  Do not EVER assume to know what I mean unless I spell it out clearly and in simple stupid words I think you'll be able to understand.

Ironically, one can get burned by falling into lava.  Imagine that!

*rolls eyes* So, you're basing ALL dark Jedi on the example of two?  Really?

"The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing us he didn't exist".  Just because a Jedi falls Dark or even Grey, doesn't mean they go zombie and pasty.  Dark does not always equal grotesque.  The only reason Anakin turned out pasty and scarred is because he fell into a lava river, remember?  Before that, he was as handsome as ever.  Had he NOT fallen into the lava, I'm pretty sure he'd rack up a handful of scars, but pasty and nasty?  Not a chance.

Oh, very good.  Bubbles the Chimp can quote a post!

*shrug*  Yeah.  I said it.  You still haven't proven I'm wrong, however.  Lava = burns.  Doesn't matter whether he fell into it or next to it.  Boy got his ass burned to a crisp, necessitating a suit to continue his life.

Thanks for playing.

With the new picture, for some reason I can get a better view of your abdomen and the hot mess of the belts.  Are those just random belts you've buckled on?  I like the concept, but you need a little more of a stomacher or waist cincher concept to make it work.  A large piece of leather to back the belts and give some structure, not raw silk.  If possible, I'd go with maybe a shave smaller width belts and put the buckles on one side or the other, not both.  If you insist on using the raw silk, cut the belts down to one or two and make the silk into an obi style sash.  Personally, I'd use the raw silk to make the cloak.

For Sarah...I intend to post some new pics as soon as i get the chance of the mid-section so that you can get a better view.  I like what you suggested.  I really like the Anakin/Obi-wan belt look with a slim belt and sash behind it.  What I was trying for was the Starkiller (Force Unleashed) tight belt look: I was trying to avoid the Darth Maul belt but it ain't bad...

So I think you're onto something...I think Leather looks best on Fabric and visa-versa. So I definitely need to go with Fabric (Silk) sashes under the belt and tabards to boot...made of silk then?

LOL Cas...

You can use the raw silk, if you want.  Silk can get pricey, so maybe a rough weave linen or homespun cotton can also be used if you're worried about funds.  If you're not, then by all means, go with the silk.

I like the shredded look of the tabard in the picture you're basing the concept off of and the belt idea you had can work - I think the belts you had were a hair too wide.  Honestly, when I saw the black belt you posted, my brain went Heavyweight Champ Title Belt.  It's the rounded shape. LOL  You might be able to distress it a little, add some other tools and gee-gaws to it to jazz it up.

Maybe Ron has some suggestions?

Here is the maul belt...it looks better on.  I really am not leaning towards maul.  If I go Darth Maul, I have to go all the way Maul make-up and all (didn't mean to rhyme), but you get the idea.

Bingo Baby.  Now, if you could find one with two thin belts on it instead of one, then that's more of what you'd envisioned.

Looking at the fabric sash, it looks like Bemburg Lining fabric or sandwashed rayon.  You could also find some sueded silk.
